Similarities
The aftermath of the 9/11 and even the events that transpired before the attacks are very
similar to Alfred P. Murrah federal building bombing that occurred in Oklahoma building. When
the OKC bombing occurred, there were issues of motivation which were raised by the
libertarians (Giordano, 2013). Conservatives and the U.S officials did not want such discussions
and did whatever they could to suppress and intimidate those holding discussions of motivations.
This was not different from what happened after the 9/11 attacks where the U.S officials
expected people to remain shut and no motivation talks were allowed. U.S officials were
determined to maintain silence and did not want the Americans to discuss the role that the U.S
officials might have played in both attacks. In both incidences, the attacks targeted American
citizens (Jenkins, 2015). There were heavy casualties that involved American citizens with a
minimum of 168 lives lost in the OKC bombing. Both attacks marked the darkest days in
