3. The recent “Stress in America” report from the American Psychological Association provides insights about patterns and trends in stress. Although sources and consequences of stress are similar for men and women, there are many key differences in how each gender reports and perceives stress. Women tend to report higher levels of stress than man, but they also appear to be following better stress management practices than men. The report suggests that men may be less concerned about managing stress and feel they are doing enough in this area. Women, in contrast, tend to place more emphasis on the need to manage stress, but feel they are not doing a good enough job of it.

Maintaining Healthy Lifestyle

Based on the Dietary Guidelines of 2010, my eating pattern does not meet the nutrients

that my body requires. I found out that have been taking more calories with the kinds of
foods that I eat as the choices of beverages that I drink. I realized that the present eating
habits I have, I will be more prone to foodborne diseases. Eating patterns are linked to the
leading diseases that caused mortality among people around the world and these are
cardiovascular diseases, obesity, osteoporosis, and cancers (Corbin, 2016). I would say
that using the tools which are designed to assess as well as track the kind of diet that I am
having will be advantageous for me for this will help me correct my eating pattern. In
addition to this, it will enable me to track the quality of food that I take and the physical
activities that I should be performing to burn the excess calories that I have in my body thus
will allow me to have or maintain healthier lifestyle (USDA, 2018). Avoiding unhealthy
foods will prevent a person from experiencing more health risks. Proper nutrition will enable
the person to increase the appearance as well as enable one to be more effective in
