Question Description

Read system analysis and guideline in file i link below. All information write in there, then:

Write more than 1 pages for Executive Summary - This section will be used to describe your solution summary and overall approach.

Hint: below is our group overall approach on this project, please help me put it in the summary, and make it perfect.

After meeting with client in Texas State Aquarium (TSA) Wildlife Rescue Center , our group listen what they talk about how they rescure turtle so we understand their job, how hard it is. We build idea then we meet up again with client. Ask question for more detail then we also provide some immediately solution. We receive feedback from them then we build up the system due to the Standing form report. We create table and relationship for information. Using access 2016 to create database management system, which can speed up fill-in time. And our system able to generate report based on input data.

SA&D Documentation Introduction Now that you already submitted your proposal and the clients seem to be interested in hiring your team to build the system for them, it is time to design the system that best fits your clients’ need. In order to appreciate all the processes needed to build a business application, working with the realworld database project is a must. However, please note that with a one-semester time constraint, the project you develop for the Texas State Aquarium (TSA) Wildlife Rescue Center is generally simpler than real-life projects, but complex enough to illustrate common problems that you will encounter. The project is designed to be built throughout the semester. Each team should demonstrate a completed database application at the end of the semester. The ultimate goal of this project is to build the final and complete application that meets or exceeds the client’s expectation. My most crucial advice to the team is that you must begin working on the project as soon as possible. Do not put the project off until the end of the semester. One of the most challenging aspects of any project is that it contains a level of uncertainty and ambiguity. When you start a real-life project, you never know exactly what the project is going to involve. As you talk with users, you encounter contradictions, uncertainty, and confusion over terms and goals. With a real project, you resolve these problems through experiences and discussions with managers. With a class project, you do not have direct access to the managers and users. The instructor can answer some questions. However, you may need to make your own judgements and interpretations. When you start to design the system, try to focus on the big picture. Identify the environment, goals, and objectives of the proposed system. You should take notes on what your clients describe and write down all additional questions you may have. Additional research of the industry and similar firms will help identify terms, goals, and potential problems. When you begin to analyze the individual forms and reports, you need to identify the overall purpose of each form. You should be able to describe the purpose of each form in one or two sentences. Typically, it may be better to gradually develop with few tables and trail data. Then, you can add tables and features slowly. Start with an initial set of tables and keys that you are certain they are correct. Then begin building forms. Add columns and tables as you need them. If the design of your initial tables and relationships among tables are correct, you should be able to add new columns and tables without altering the existing design. One final word of advice: back up your work. Always keep a backup copy of your project on a different location. Two or three copies are even better. It’s better safe than regret. System Analysis (in MS Word or Excel) In this section, you should analyze the system carefully based on the information provided by the user and the functionality of the current system. Minimally1, this section should contain the following:  Weaknesses of the current system and how to correct or improve it  All functions/features of the current system that will be kept  Additional desired functions/features of the new system  Benefits of the new system over an existing system  Limitation of the new system, if any 1 By meeting the least requirements does not guarantee that you will get the total scores. The projects and presentation will be compared among groups on a competitive basis. System Analysis and Design Guideline-TSACollege of Business, Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi 2/5 TSA Wildlife Rescue Activity Database III. SA&D Documentation System Design & Analysis Presentation This section should provide details on the design of the system. Minimally2, this section should contain the following. 1. Technical Requirement - List hardware and software required (should be correspond to the details provided in the Proposal) 2. Entity-Relationship Model of the system 3. Tables needed, including:  Attributes in the tables (identify types, size, format, default value, etc.)  Primary key in each table  Sample data in each table 4. Identify the interactions between a table to another, show relationship among tables 5. Design Form screens needed to Input data (add, modify, delete) 6. Design Transaction screen needed to process data 7. Design Report screen needed to output result 8. Describe and provide examples of the user interface design (i.e., pictures, etc.) 2 By meeting the least requirements does not guarantee that you will get the total scores. The projects and presentation will be compared among groups on a competitive basis. System Analysis and Design Guideline-TSACollege of Business, Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi 3/5 TSA Wildlife Rescue Activity Database SA&D Documentation IV. SA&D Format and Presentation Each team is expected to submit a SA&D documentation to me and the client and give a presentation strictly limited to 30 minutes, including Q&A (no more than 15 slides) to the audiences on October 16, 2018. The SA&D documentation should be organized in the following manner:  Title - This page will consist of 4 lines, centered vertically and horizontally. The first line will consist of the word “Project System Analysis and Design,” the second “TSA Wildlife Rescue Activity Database,” the third will be the team name, and the fourth will have the date of the document.  Executive Summary - This section will be used to describe your solution summary and overall approach.  Body of Proposal - The body will consist of four sections, each containing the description of one of the SA&D areas:  Introduction – Brief overview of the project, scope and benefits of the project  System Analysis – Analyze current system and design an efficient and effective application process to improve users’ satisfaction.  System Design - Develop a technical detailed design that supports your recommended overall solution.  Conclusion – this section should conclude what you plan to do to develop the best system for the clients. The SA&D documentation must be typed in MS Word, Times New Roman 11, 1” margin on four-side, and 1.5 line space. System Analysis and Design Guideline-TSACollege of Business, Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi 4/5 TSA Wildlife Rescue Activity Database V. SA&D Documentation Evaluation Process The SA&D documentation will be judged based on the content of each required deliverable in the document. A point system will be used to assist in determining the team’s ability to meet the stated requirements. Points will be awarded based on subjective judgment of meeting the requirements of the proposal content and format. Points will be totaled from each section of the proposal for an overall score. Points will be awarded in the following major categories:      Project Overview Content (20) System Analysis Content (20) System Design Content (30) Organizational and Professional Look (15) Persuasiveness (15) System Analysis and Design Guideline-TSACollege of Business, Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi 5/5 ...
