Description
For this assignment, find six academic sources for an image of an fashionable dress (which is attached below). Provide citations and a rationale (why is this a trustworthy source?). Use only respected scholarly, academic and institutional sources, both online and in print. Each citation should be followed by a brief (usually about 150 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation, which summarizes the central theme and scope of the book or article. Include one or more sentences that (a) comment on the intended audience, (b) explain how this work illuminates your bibliography topic.

The article explores the origin of the McQueen dress from the ss99 collection. According
to the article, the collection was one of the most emotional and moving collections produced by
the designer. The article further postulates that the designer primarily focused on the theme of
new technology and craft movement. In the presentation of the collections, the models wore
beautiful tops and dresses. The article further portends that McQueen was one of the first
designers to incite the aspect of model diversity and body positivity. According to the article,
Shalom Harlow emerged wearing a white strapless dress (Bateman et al., 2016). According to
the article, the high necked dress which was paired with the aspect of modesty made a stiff
contrast between the transparent skirts and the flowing ruffles. The article further eludes that the
designer focused on the time which was ahead of time since the primary theme of the designer
was technology. The article is relevant since it explores the design of the McQueen dress from
the SS99 collection and the theme that the designer focused on during the design of the

The author of the book expounds on the rationale as to why McQueen embraced the use
of robots in spraying and painting Shalom Harlow. According to the author of the book, the
