Change is inevitable in healthcare and in nursing. When thinking of the change process, what is the role of the nurse leader/manager in the change process? What impact does change have within health care organizations as a whole?

(Watch the video)  A crucial part of any research activity is finding and gathering a variety of sources. We have so far worked pretty exclusively with primary sources (primary focus of any analysis type writing) now we will practice hunting for secondary (sources outside the primary source that back up your findings and makes your argument stronger) in our research. After watching the play "Los Vendidos" find at least 1 secondary source to back up your conclusions about the play. (HINTS: chicano culture, labor issues, stereotyping, race issues are all major themes not the play--think about what you found in your character analysis over the same source from last week's discussion board) Fully cite the source in MLA style and give a brief description of how you would use this source in a potential paper.  Reference Purdue Owl citation guide or the library citation guide for citation construction.  Citation Test: (Whenever you done) Citation is hellishly tricky, partly because it is extremely exact and there are a lot of parts to each and every full citation (because they disclose important information that give the source its credibility and location). There are many different type of sources out there (videos, lectures, first-person accounts, research, articles, papers, reports, art works, translations, ect.) and for every different kind of source you use in your research, there is a unique way to cite each and every item. Without citation methodology and our disclosure of all the sources we used in our papers, we have no way to verify if our information is accurate or if it meets the scholarly criteria for usability. HOW TO TAKE THE TEST: Please use the handouts on your student portal and the OWL writing lab at Purdue to help you construct and check your answers   https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/. Use the "How To" videos about the Citation Project to view a walk thought of me answering the test, the "Mock Answers" handout in the Handout submodule provides an example of what a completed test should look like. Please feel free to copy my structure from the mock test handout but NOT the content or the same source. Use the handout as a form check: some questions require more than one action, it's a good idea to see if your citations and answers are in the right place! Read each question carefully as many have several actions they require you to perform. Refer to the Quote Sandwich handout located in this module. Note that the videos and handouts have 6 questions instead of 5, ignore the second question in the videos and handouts (the helpaids are using an older version of the test, but that questions was not very helpful so it was taken out). Only answer the questions below.  CITATION TEST QUESTIONS: What is another term for parenthetical citation? Give 1-5 lines from a song or poem along with its parenthetical citation. Beneath it give the full citation as it would appear in a works cited page. Using a physical book, give a full quote sandwich (don’t forget the parenthetical citation inside the sandwich) underneath add the full citation. Using a paper or article from the school library databases, give a quote (any length), its parenthetical citation, and the full citation beneath it.  Using YouTube or another digital platform (interview, analysis, tv show, movie, talk show, ect) present a full quote with parenthetical citation and accompanying full citation. Present it in the form of a quote sandwich.

Let's look at some arguments. Tell me as much as you can about each one. For example, you can tell me its form, and that you recognize it as, say, Modus Ponens. Then you can try to evaluate its soundness as well. If you recognized it as MP then you know it is valid. If you recognized it as Affirming the Consequent, the you know it is invalid. You may not find a form. If you do not, this is the time to use the Indirect Test!!  See Lecture on this. You can then proceed to tell me about its soundness. You can say things like, "the premises appear to be false, so this would make it unsound." Or, "I don't know if the premises are true or false, so if they are true the argument would be, let's say, valid and sound, or if they are false, then it would be, say, valid and unsound." You must justify you answer with a test procedure. Below are some exercises to try: 1)    Everyone who is well-educated knows about the existence of the Roman Empire, and John is well-educated. So, John must know something about the Roman Empire.
