  1. Assignment: You will write a (minimum) 800- word essay explaining your rights concerning voting. You will then explain, as a citizen, whether you have a responsibility in exercising the right to vote.

    1. This is a reflection paper – it is opinion based.
    2. Think about whether or not you would have always had the right to vote in the US.
    3. If you are under 18 or not a citizen, explain what it would mean for you to be able to vote.
    4. Do political parties play into whether you vote?
    5. Is it important to vote for local, state, and federal officials?
  2. This assignment is worth 5% of your grade. I suggest you put thought and effort into it.

    1. Your paper needs to be minimum 800 words.
