The Chosen movie is soul surfer that raises equally enormous and distinct themes.
Sacrifice, passion, inspiration, and transformation are some of the notable themes in soul
surfer. The given themes offer complexity layers to a soul surfer film which unifies different
elements of dialogue, character, and plot. Soul surfer themes resonate mostly with the setting
of the story and different community’s inclination towards commitment in achieving
individual’s goal despite various challenges that may come along the way. Communities
congregate around common themes such as loss, revenge, and antagonism but in this film, we
have distinct themes because it is based on Bethany real life story. Communities endure
whilst themes tend to perish as films fade away. Themes are believed to prevail intent
message and create life lessons, however best ones are ever subtle. For instance, in soul
surfer, the themes will be long-lasting because they are set to give significance moral lessons.
In the soul surfer, themes lie beneath the surface of a movie.
The soul surfer by Bethany Hamilton employs several themes ranging from passion,
faith, and inspiration. Passion is the leading theme in this film. Bethany portrays strong
surfing passion. Surfing got Bethany Hamilton where she is currently despite the
complication of having a single arm. Hamilton must have got a really strong passion for
surfing. Surfing might have involved her whole life. Bethany would indulge in surfing
severally by dipping into the water again and again without fear of shark’s attack that
expressed ultimate passion.
