Introduction
The complexity of identifying the correct meaning of socialism is evident to each person
who tries to learn the protean doctrine. For the purpose of transparency, many historians
frequently characterize historical period in phases

. The meaning of Socialism was initially
coined during the 19

century. It was coined in consideration of the teachings advocated for by
Charles Fourier. Socialism became widespread in England during the era of Robert Owen in
1830s.It spread since several local communities were transformed to larger groups within many
states

. There is a universal agreement that various thoughts of socialism shares common features
with the issues of the Atlantic Revolution. Therefore, many historians should be informed about
the various schools of socialism and the Atlantic revolution from a wider perspective instead of
only focusing on politics within their nations and domestic events. The base of the paper will be
to examine the extent of socialist thinking is reflected in the Atlantic Revolution. The ways
social thinking departed from the earlier revolutionary upheaval will also be examined.
Socialist View
Even though the people from Europe ruled the Americans and controlled different
societies, socialists such as Marx informed the society members about the way capitalists
exploited employees

. In doing this, Marx informed employees with scientific knowledge of
society and how they could change from capitalism to communism. That is, Marx enlightened
employees of their main mission in the universe

. The socialist thinking on human beings is that
human nature differentiates them from key political competitors, liberals as well as conformist.
