QUASI OR EXPERIMENTAL STUDY 2
Quasi or Experimental Study
In this experimental study or rather the quasi research type, the idea was to analyze the
rates at which people tend to watch some of the educative programs on television and whether
these programs are of assistance to their lives. The research participants were allocated several
conditions with no meaningful random task. Part of the null hypothesis was that there were
limited or no particular differences in line with the mean number of individuals watching
television among the three GPA groups, which were ranked as high, average, and low scores. It
was further tested against the alternative hypothesis, which is denoted as h1. Here, the average
mean number of individuals watching television within the three group’s thus high, average, and
low scores seemed to differ extensively.
In this study that seeks to establish the rates at which groups tend to watch educative
programs on television, the independent variables would be the length of time the groups spent
watching the programs believed to be educative. To measure the variables, it would essential for
the research team to use the same groups throughout the study. On the other hand, to attribute
differences in terms of the results, the research team must ensure that there are no specific
differences between the participants. In case the team manages to test the control group subjects,
it would be essential for them to introduce systematic bias during data capture.
While seeking to obtain the participant’s random sample, the research team will start by
defining the research’s target group. Apart from that, it would be essential to establish a sample
size. In this research, the target group will be random television who will be categorized in
different groups. Each group will consist of at least five members. During the research, the idea
was to ensure high internal validity throughout the study. The first step to attaining this is be
limiting the confounding variables given that high confounding variables would lessen the
