Administration of justice encompasses the workforce, structure, and events of the justice
framework. Criminal justice system ethics can be categorized into diligence, servitude, and
discipline functions upon which professional and moral principles are applied. The criminal
justice system consists of the police, courts, and correctional facilities. This paper outlines
professional standards and values observed as well as common managerial practices undertaken
in the criminal justice system.

Common Managerial Practices
Various personnel within the system will interact with lawbreakers differently due to
ethical issues, which will also affect their decision-making process and interpretation of the law.
For instance, defense advocates will view matters differently to prosecuting counselor. As for
defense attorneys, ethics will demand that their clients offer a true statement as well as represent
them fairly (McGorrery && McMahon, 2019). On the other hand, prosecuting advocates have an
ethical responsibility to ensure that they provide accurate information and adequate evidence to
justify the punishment of crime. They have to offer apparent facts and not incomplete
information.
Police officers often make decisions regarding life or death during their line of duty as
well as responding to criminal acts and collecting valid evidence. They have an ethical obligation
