What is the projected project cost? = $ 450 + $ 25 = $ 475
What is the projected project duration? = 26 days 1 day = 25 days

Explain the results of your calculations.
All the paths after crashing task g by one day are critical. Crashing task g reduces it to 24 days at
a cost of $475. Activity g has the best optimal way to crash the project and only costs $25.
(d). Find the optimal way to crash the project by two days.
What is the projected project cost? = $ 475 + $ 25 = $ 500
What is the projected project duration? = 26 days 1 day 1 day = 24 days
What is the critical path (or paths)? abfdgi and abceg-i
What task or tasks were crashed? Task g was crashed by two days.
Explain the results of your calculations.
It is possible to crash both task g and task a by one day each concurrently. Task g,
however, has the least crash cost per day (25). The rest of the activities will cost the company a
lot of money to crush them.
