Construction of a Warehouse Project
There are three main deliverables in the project of constructing a warehouse. The first
deliverable is the laying of the foundations, which will only be possible after the excavation of
the ground, construction of the foundation walls, and then a slab laid on the stones. Once the
foundation is complete, the next deliverable will be the erection of the wall, which will entail
arranging the brick and motor, erecting the windows and doors, and then erecting the roof.
Finality, the landscaping deliverable, will be the last task which will attract activities such as
planting trees and grass, laying cabro blocks on the footpaths, and erecting street lighting and
other decorations. Figure 1 below is a diagrammatic illustration of the WBS that explains the
relationship between these tasks in the construction of a warehouse project.
