TURNING KNOWLEDGE INTO ACTION DISCUSSION 2
An evidence-based approach to decision-making is based on a grouping of utilizing
decisive thinking and the most excellent accessible verification. I would incorporate evidence-
based decision making by involving several steps for effective practice. These steps comprise,
inquiring a question, seeking relevant information or verification to respond to the query, and
significantly appraise the acquired data. Then I would integrate the appraised evidence for its
validity and finally evaluate the above steps to find ways of improvements. Thus, these steps will
tend to enhance transparency, participation, openness, defined process, and skilled leadership
and facilitation for effective decision making process (Latham, 2011).
I would make evidence-based management as a part of the decision making through
effective asking questions to translate the problem, acquiring necessary evidence, and appraising
the relevance of evidence. Through those steps, I would be straightforward with myself and
obtain a moment to review my inspirations. This approach will help me to stay objective and
center on seeking the most excellent potential resolution for the dealing. However, I would take
my passion for learning by being consistent, make incremental moves, build my resilience,
practice self-discipline, and then creating a flexible plan. These approaches will help take risks,
decisions, go for expectations, and think realistically to turn learning into actionable results.
