BUSINESS COMMUNICATION QUESTIONS 2
Business Communication Questions
Question 1
The Huawei Phone Production
The production of the smartphone begins in the company’s research and development
centers in Europe and the United States. This analysis focuses on the customers’ demands, after
which the results are communicated electronically to the design center in Shanghai. The
designers use the results from R&D efforts to design various prototypes (Low, 2017). This
typically starts with the creation of freshly built, tailored, and appropriate modules such as
cameras, batteries, and storage modules where Huawei assigns its specialists to operate side-by-
side collaborators to manufacture them. Once these modules are finished, they build prototype
devices for many tests before the latest product can go into commercial production. Some of
these experiments, including GPS, Wi-Fi, camera, and applications, are conducted concurrently
for 1,000 hours on several hundred prototypes, including more than 10,000 unique situations.
The phone also passes through contact protocol testing, fall, and bend testing, signal testing, and
audio testing. Both of these experiments are carried out under stringent supervision.
Huawei is implementing Oracles independent production framework along with its
preparation and implementation platform eKanban. The device dramatically enhances visibility
and monitoring of the efficiency and factory floors. Nonetheless, Huawei implements robotic
engineering to its manufacturing lines and partners with Dassault to accomplish digitization of
production across a cloud-based approach, where the whole assembly cycle can be described as
real time, on request and all digital. It will ultimately bind operations related to IT, architecture,
and production (Low, 2017). To market its brand, Huawei uses Omni-channel. The main
