Many researchers link the success of the organization to the effective leadership of Steve Jobs.
Apple Inc. The company was incorporated in 1977 in California, United States. It began as a
manufacturer, designer, and marketer of digital communication devices. In addition to the digital
communication devices, the company also deals with the creation and distribution of software
and third-party digital content applications. The organization operates on a global scale with
retail shops distributed in America, Europe, Rest of Asia, and Greater China. Since the
organization was founded in the year 1977, it has been in operation for about 43 years. It has
seen notable success given the company’s rapid and effective invention and innovation spirit.
The founders of the organization seemed to understand the primary factor in driving an
organization towards success.
Steve Jobs’ Situational Leadership Style and Characteristics
Apple founders designed the structure of the company to maintain a traditional hierarchy.
It was not purely traditional but was incorporated with other strategic elements of auxiliary sorts

organizational decision went through him. Steve Jobs applied a centralized form of management.
All the departments depended upon Steve’s final decision on critical matters affecting any

obligation. The organization has been steadfast in producing reliable, accessible, and affordable
technological devices distributed in all parts of the globe.
