require you to complete a scope statement similar to Exhibit 7.4 on page 219 of the textbook.
Copy and paste the Business Case you completed on Week 2 into the section below.
Draft a one or two sentence scope description for this project.

Business Case (copy and paste):
The WSP's resilience project aims at providing a safer environment for citizens of
Virginia Beach by improving life quality. The project's objective is to protect against sea-level
rise, impacts of extreme weather such as damages to property, which might occur due to the
increased precipitation. The ultimate goal is to protect against adverse economic effects by
ensuring stakeholder coordination. The project is working on a standard design for future
stormwater pump stations and tide protection for Virginia Beach. This project proposed three
stormwater pump stations and tide facilities in urban areas and a pump station at a city park.

Scope Description:
This project will be dealing with the construction and installation of three stormwater
stations and tide and current flumes in Norfolk, Chesapeake, Hampton, and Newport News. The
project will also construct a pump station at the City of Virginia Beach parks.
Key Deliverables with acceptance criteria (product scope):
KEY DELIVERABLES
1.Formulation of a detailed project plan
2.Presentation of essential equipment and
staff to the CDC
3.Identification of funding sources
4.Comprehensive analysis of the scope
for DRM in Virginia
5.Construction of the stormwater stations
6.construction of the tide and current

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
1.Agreement with the stakeholders
2. Approvals to be provided by the CDC and any
other relevant bodies concerned with Health and
occupational safety.
3.Getting enough funds to complete the project
4. DRM and other legal institutions to safeguard
the project by designing the copyright laws of the
project from being deployed by the competitors.
