Paragraph
According to the Obama administration, more than 9 million American citizens gains health
insurance since 2014. This statistic led to about 10.4% of Americans who were uninsured in 2014
and continues to decrease. Also, employment numbers continues to increase in the work force.
Unfortunately, there is no significant change in the American household income. The Census
Bureau reports that the household income for Americans is about $53,660 and 46.7 million people
were in poverty in 2014. These statistics show that the Affordable Care Act is working, but does
not show improvement in household income. Lawrence Mishel, president of the Economics Policy
Institute, states that since there is no improvement in workers’ wages, there is no improvement in
the household income.

Paragraph
After reading this news article, I thought it was very interesting about healthcare and income. I
think this article will have other readers think about the Affordable Care Act as a healthcare
principle to improve health and the economy. Some people may see changes in their healthcare and
household income sometime in the future. I see no difference in changing my mind about
Obamacare. The Affordable Care Act is making improvements in cost, quality, and access in
healthcare. I think this article was a good idea because it can make people aware that the Affordable
Care Act is looking to improve healthcare, the economy, and household income for everyone and
will continue to improve.

Paragraph
It’s very significant for everyone to think and care about their healthcare and income. Most
importantly, everyone should be more concern about the United States economy in healthcare. The
Affordable Care Act makes us think about how our health affects the future. Also, this article
expands more that Obamacare is not only about everyone having basic security in healthcare, but
about improving jobs, income, and the economy. It can take some research and reading to make
people aware how Obamacare is improving.
