Mission Statement
The Martin Executive in Residence Program within the Ketner School of Business supports
intellectual stimulation through personal one-on-one professional development with executive
mentor leaders to help students succeed, lead and serve within their communities throughout
their career. Mentors will offer a high-impact experience by helping students form a professional
skill set, including soft skills sought after by employers, build extensive professional networks,
and establish attainable but ambitious career goals. Students are matched with an experienced
professional who has worked or is currently working in their area of study or industry. Students
will be challenged to do extensive self-evaluation and work within a team while also learning to
continually build on their strengths. The Martin Executive in Residence Program in the Ketner
School of Business will help shape future business leaders by inspiring students to not only
achieve academic excellence but to achieve excellence after college.
