EXPLORATORY ESSAY carpenter stage
Natural disasters such as wildfires can be devastating. They affect people, animals, and
the environment. Wildfires can destroy homes and entire towns in a matter of minutes, killing or
injuring populations and eradicating anything in their path. Did you know that 90% of all
wildfires are started by humans? “U.S. National Park Service”. I believe that if humans were
considerably mindful, a certain amount of wildfires could be avoided. Not only would it save
countless lives of people and animals, but it could also save a significant amount of money on
damages and a great part of the environment. Dangerous wildfires can be life altering.

dry windy conditions. Often, they are mentioned in the news as occurring commonly in the
western United States and ignite during drought periods in the summer.
