CYBERSECURITY IMPLEMENTATION PLAN 2
1. Introduction
Purpose of Plan (implementation of the security strategy)
Typically, a cybersecurity implementation plan is a vital concept that enhances the
security of organizations by enacting various information technology measures to prevent cyber
attacks. Mainly, IT leaders use cybersecurity measures to secure the digital and information
assets of their organization. Thus, any organization's primary priority is to ensure CIOs and
CISOs protect employees and the client data from vulnerabilities or threats caused by cyber
attackers (Benzel, 2015). Implementing a cybersecurity plan focuses on managing security
threats to maintain a positive reputation for the company. Employees and clients cannot invest
their resources in a areas without security plan.
More importantly, a cybersecurity plan is viable in major organizations with vast
personal information and credit data and feasible in every company that uses hardware, software,
the Internet, and other applications. Thus, a cybersecurity plan is essential in identifying risks
and setting measures to navigate vulnerabilities (Benzel, 2015). Therefore, the current project's
primary objective is to design a cybersecurity implementation plan that should be used in the
acquisition of Island Banking Services. Mainly, the M & A team is responsible for transition and
implementation plans to enhance a complete transition to establish the PBI-FS. The project's
purpose is to develop a different cybersecurity management program that should be used by the
PBI-FS, thereby isolating threats and vulnerabilities that would affect the newly acquired
company.
