The major problem that Trinidad faces is economic development causing over average carbon
dioxide emission.
b) List at least three of your own solutions Trinidad could do to solve their problem.
1. Trinidad should find out some renewable or cleaner energy to substitute those high carbon
dioxide emission energy.
2. Trinidad government should publish series of policy to control the carbon dioxide output of
domestic industries. At the same time, the government should control GDP increasing rate.
Keeping the rate in a reasonable range in order to decrease energy consumption and carbon
dioxide emission.
3. The advocation of taking public transportation instead of driving private car could relieve the
pressure of private vehicle carbon dioxide emission.
c) Which one did the leaders of the country decide to do (section 4.1)?
The leader should make a forward planning.
2)Almost all leader of countries in the world aspire for economic growth. What are some
environmental effects of increased wealth and population increases?
I suppose that with the increasing population and increased wealth, it must be some
environmental damage such as exploitation of the forest, pollution of the underground water,
lake and river, over emission of the carbon dioxide. The development of industries and
