Family; it is a group consisting of two parents and their children living together as a unit. Activities ; a thing that a group or a person does or has done. Materials; they are physical objects from which a thing can be made. 2 INTRODUCTION Children acquire mathematical skills and concepts at an early age, children can be heard making statements such as “I want two bananas” the teacher should build on and continue developing these skills and concepts through appropriate activities and materials. Most of the activities should be inform of games, poems and songs which are interesting to children. Early interest in and enjoyment in mathematics is important for laying a firm foundation in mathematics and for future interest in the subject.
