Introduction
Interpersonal communication is very essential in running daily activities of the
organization. Conflicts rarely occur in environment where information freely flows in an
organization. Causes of differences maybe messages left unsaid and past experience. In
workplace, managers and employees are supposed to express good interpersonal skills.
Currently, a major source of stress in workplaces is conflicts and should never be underrated at
all as this is a demotivating factor (Lee & Thurasamy, 2020). Managers are required to resolve
conflicts among the employees no matter how much they are knowledgeable. Conflicts are
caused when workers disagree on some issues or created when there is an interrelationship
problem between groups or individuals. Management of conflicts is required so as to show the
ability to deal with various situations causing conflicts and respond in an appropriate way that
benefit both the parties and organization. Active listening skills are required in conflict
management (Lee & Thurasamy, 2020).
Advice offered to Jennifer Ames if i were the expert assisting this organization with conflict
resolution.
If I were an expert in this organization I would offer the following advices to
Jennifer Ames in conflict resolution:
Disciplinary action taken
Rules and policies exist in most organization which helps to reduce the number of
conflicts that might occur in the work environment (Radulescu, 2012). Policies can govern
speech, behaviour and code of dressing. Disciplinary action should take into consideration if the
