Experience with mental illness or disability
Introduction
According to the population of Canada, for every five individuals, one person experiences
a mental health issue or illness for a given year. This figure translates to twenty percent of the
entire population of Canada, i.e., approximately close to seven million people of all the population
within the fifteen cities of Canada. According to the previous data, it is also explicitly shown that
individuals under age forty years, two of them usually experience a mental health challenge or
illness once they reach forty years (Gilbert, 2017). The drastic increase in the numbers directly
affects the labor force; every week, close to five hundred thousand Canadian citizens are unable

violence experienced by adults with severe mental illness? Morneau Shepell has collaborated with
the Globe company in the creation of Mental health experience labor survey within Canada to
enable him to capture some of the vital aspects of the experience condition (Samra, 2017).
