Present brief analysis of the company’s internal and macro environments
INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT
This is the nearby environment under which the firm operates. It is in direct contact with the orga
nization and is a collection of the forces close to the firm. Some of Zulu Inc. components of the i
nternal environment comprises of:
1. Employees – it has a Deputy Director in charge of Marketing, three sales managers and
200 employees
2. Customers – these are consumers who are responsible for making purchases as Zulu Inc.
deals with the manufacture of PVC materials.
3. Machinery/materials –it’s clear that Zulu Inc. has invested in machinery and
manufacturing materials with the launch of windows made of PVC with their high
thermal performance and technical competitive advantages.
MACRO ENVIRONMENT
This is the general environment within the economy that influences the working, perform
ance, decision making and strategy of the business. These are the outside forces that are n
ot under the control of the firm but have a powerful effect all the same. In Zulu Inc. we ca
n point out some components:
1. Political factors –this has not only been manifested by the government standards but also
with the tax credits associated with purchase of certain goods.
2. Economic factors –consumers are more careful on the money they spend because of the
economic crisis, could be high levels of unemployment or even inflation. They have to be
more careful about potential purchases.
3. Environmental factors – consumers are more concerned on environmental friendly
products, an ecological consciousness has evolved.
4. Technological factors –the launch of windows made of PVC with their high thermal
performance was obviously a development on new methods of manufacture hence the
organization’s move to launch the products.
