Essay One
Before the arrival of the big day, my parents kept reminding me of an exciting
experience. Their behavior made me perceive the day as one that I would vividly remember all
my life. The big day arrived, the sun rose particularly early, making the day seem bright, which
made me think it could be an easy day. I had patiently waited for this day and saw it as a
significant milestone that indicated determination and progress. My mother woke me up after she
had prepared a delicious breakfast. As we sat on the table, she said, "This is a new beginning
son." She then took a bite and said, "I know you will like it." I looked her directly into the eyes
and responded, "Yes, I am happy." We hurriedly finished taking breakfast, packed and left for
school.
Upon arriving at the school, parents and students could be seen enjoying the moments
with little or no friction. Fathers, mothers, and joyous children engaged with each other and
created a scene of happy people. My mother seemed settled and engaged a tall lady, and it
appeared to me they were talking about the school and the general outlook of the environment. I
gazed at a team of young girls who left one classroom an entered another. They appeared neat,
focused, and motivated to learn. I admired their appearance and turned around to check whether
my mother had noticed them.
I turned quickly and unintentionally knocked down a young learner who was going
towards his mother, the tall lady that my mother closely engaged. I promptly said, "I am sorry, I
did not do it on purpose." At this time, my mother realized something had happened, and she
quickly rushed towards me and asked, “What happened?” I kept silent as I watched the tall lady
