Red Carpet: Managing Organizational Change 2
Managing Organizational Change
The Red Carpet has recently acquired another company. The change implemented should
comprise different strategies. The company needs both transformational and transitional change
to enable the business concept to run without lots of interruption. The transformational change
should enable technology improvements needed to keep up with the changing dynamics of the
business (Ghobakhloo & Fathi, 2019). Acquiring a new business needs a comprehensive plan to
integrate both managerial styles and operational changes. Transitional change is required in the
workforce to adapt to the new style of business. The transition will help in attitude and behavior
to increase effectiveness and stimulate team creativity. A different training program is needed to
educate, train, and learn the new job techniques required for the business's growth and stability.
The incorporation of the new business needs new strategies. A combination of transitional and
transformational change will ensure success and growth.
The integration of the new company needs all stakeholders to be involved. A meeting of
heads of department, president, and vice presidents is required. Heads of the department
communicate the current state of the organization (Swenson et.al., 2019). Each department
identifies areas of concern and strategies to be implemented. The presidents and vice presidents
are required to set a new vision and plans of the organization. One of the leasers' essential parts
is ensuring the transition process is stable after acquiring the new business. This helps reduce the
employees' anxiety about the future. Human resource managers help implement the change in an
orderly mannerthe setting strategy and allocating resources and appointing managers of the
projects. For seamless transition process all stakeholders need to work hand in hand to achieve
this change.
