Men vs. Women and Muscle Mass
Research
Generally, men have a greater muscle mass than women; research on muscle masses
indicates a significant difference between body fat and muscle in both men and women. The
difference in activities during the day by both men and women is the critical element that leads
to the difference in muscle mass. Men are known to get involved in activities that require more
energy; hence their muscles get used to hard work. Women in the mother's hand are used to
doing light jobs and house chores that do not require more energy; hence their muscles are not
used to more power. Muscle mass can be increased in both men and women by the regular
aerobic exercise of about twice weekly that exposes their muscle to great extents requiring
implementation of energy. When focusing on the desired change of your body, participating in
any activity will be helpful to the body as it will adapt to the new weights that require more
energy (Maloney, 2019). The difference is also evident between men and women even after
various activities to increase muscle mass. Women have a lower endurance span than men, who
can endure dealing with heavy tasks and activities for an extended period.
Critical Thinking
When practicing in the gym, women who enrolled in the gym started by lifting light
weights compared to men who began by lifting slightly heavier weights than those women.
When observing the intervals that each activity took in both genders, men performed a particular
activity for a long time than women who performed for half the time men took in the same
action. The endurance during the exercise showed that women had less muscle mass than men.
When considering women, a variation was noticed in how they accomplished the aerobic
