Take a Movie from Netflix
The Witch is a movie directed by Robert Eggers, which tells a story of a Puritan family
that banished from the main farm. It concentrated on their struggles to solely live on their
resources and faith far from the rest of civilization (Farry, 2016). The producer brought out some
dark forces with plagues of fear and doubt. Being one of the best horror movies, there are
experiences that do not match the audience expectations and thus the seesaw model in movies is
seen. Though the movie has many views and is interesting, it lacks balancing of the content and
cannot be completely tied to the movie principle of seesaw model. However, the model is a plan
to balance the earnings and spending while satisfying the gap between the two.
The film does not suit everyone and it has unique cinematic experiences that have
superstitions, it’s modern in its grim implications about oppression, misogyny and there are also
bitter fruits born of distrust. From one of the scenes, the movie features a baby being turned into
a crimson body wash and a goat convinces a young girl to sell her soul which cannot happen in
the real world. Just like the seesaw game played in most places, the principle advocates for rising
and falling with an aim of balancing the two sides, which represents the movie content and the
audience, or the information brought out and the impact it gives to the people.
As a modern cast of a traditional story, the audience does not have to keep wasting their
energy worrying about the plot line, but revels in the detailed mechanism of the story. The
director of the witch puts higher amount of work into making this movie as accurate as possible.
However, the setting of the film is all hand-build from the historic records, where the language
has been researched and found that it does not follow any movie rules and the costumes used
also looked like it had been stolen from a theatre or a museum. Maybe the most real thing is that
