Sandwich generation refers to middle-aged adults who take care of both their elderly parents and

young children.

Taking care of both families is quite exhausting and demanding but comes with blessings.

Giving personal care to your parents is the utmost reward an individual can give back to them for

raising you.

As a middle adult parent takes care of an elderly adult he/she learns to be selfless. By taking care

of your parents you find yourself accustomed to sacrificing yourself for the well-being of other

family members.

Another advantage is that children have an opportunity to interact with their grandparent(s).

Thus, knowing them better. However, middle age parent gets exhausted due to a lot of juggling

as they take care of their young ones and their elderly parents.

Women who are having children at later ages, so their parents are older, but their children are

still

Young are likely to be caught by sandwich generation.
