Strengths of Amazon
1. Strategic Internal variables
Amazon holds the largest reputation in the online shopping industry. This resilience is partly
responsible for the rapid growth of the company, especially at the start, given the market
recognition and customer sentiment. A mild diversity was one of the highlights of this SWOT
analysis for Amazon too. The company also acts, for example, as a provider of consumer goods,
internet ordering, non-traditional store outlets, private brand items, and IT infrastructure, such as
cloud computing and others. Such varied activities reinforce Amazon to make it a great rival
(Chzhen', 2019).
2. Reduced price, the biggest selection of goods as well as a vast amount of third-party
sellers: Amazon is the largest e-commerce corporation in the world. Throughout 2019 , the
company earned $141.347 billion from third-party revenue earnings through its internet stores
from its direct shopping transactions and another $53.862 billion. Compared with the next few
biggest online retailers (Cusumano, Iyer & Venkatraman, 2014), the company's online selling
activities created a massive revenue of US$ 195.109 billion. The remarkable online growth of
Amazon has prompted the firm to be the world’s second-largest store, just behind Wal-Mart,
relative to several other brick and mortar businesses.
