Role of training in an organization's development
In the dynamic and ever changing business world, employee training and
development is a key and indispensable function. When well facilitate, employee development
will lead to productive human resources in the company and therefore improve on the efficiency
and performance of an organization. The role of training and development is as discussed below.
Employee training and development helps to improve the performance and
productivity of the employee. Through training and development the employees are able to amplify
their strengths and acquire new skill in their respective roles. Will improved skills and knowledge,
employees will perform better and produce better results for the company. Another role of training
and development is that it helps to boost the motivation levels of employees. When employees are
impacted with new skills and insights in the work, they are able to take pride in doing whatever
they do with the necessary skills and confidence. This makes employees feel they are doing what
they are qualifies to do and at the end of the day, they produce results and through this, they feel
motivated to perform their duties.
Employee training and development is specifically essential when new employees are
employed into an organization. New employees are trained on the procedures and processes
involved in that organization and through this they acquire the necessary skills to help them to be
