What type are you?

I can be described by the four letters- INTJ. From the findings, I have slight preference of

Introversion over Extraversion (16%). I also have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing

(38%). I also have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (38%). Lastly, I have slight

preference of Judging over Perceiving (9%) (Jung, nd).

Do you agree with this assessment? Why or why not?

Yes, I agree with this assessment because I am a person who believes that appearance and

reality are two different things. Many people often use their senses and emotions to make

decision. But for me, I rarely rely on senses because I have been reading a lot of philosophical

books and I have realized that senses are often deceptive. That is why I judge rather than

perceive. That is also why I have preference of thinking over feeling

What did you learn through this self-assessment?

I learned from the assessment that it is possible to know a person’s personality based on

aggregation of daily behaviors, views and feeling towards the different questions presented by

the Jung Typology tests. I have also learned that different personalities such as introversion,

extraversion, intuition, sensing, thinking, feeling, judging and perceiving do exists. More

importantly, I learned that the personality of a person influence what he or she does. Those who

are extravert, for example, may pursue journalism and communication courses.

Discuss how your current personality type has influenced your current career goals

I believe that my current career goal is in line with my personality type. I am pursuing a

career under the natural science and according to Jung, a person of my personality type can do
