LEGAL AND ETHICAL BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
The business environment is all external and internal factors that influence the operations of
the business. These factors include the employees, demand and supply, management, customer
needs and expectations, clients, owners, suppliers, government policies, technology
advancement, social trends, market trends, economic changes among others. For positive growth
of any business, both internal and external factors must be ethical and legally accepted.
INITIAL PERSPECTIVE
As stated above in the business environment description, it is essential to understand how
these factors affect business both from within and outside. While there isn't any standard weight
to justify the most valued or standard procedure to come to a consensus of what ethical and legal
environment entails, there are the generally accepted standard behaviours that take precedence

goodwill.
FIRST INITIAL: ETHICAL MAINTENANCE OF THE LAW
Just like the tools and machines should never run without preventive maintenance measures,
so should the laws. Most businesses run into losses of about six percent annually due to
negligence of ethical maintenance of the law. Once the potential customers have noticed
negligence in handling problems related to moral values, they seize to do business with the
