Thanks for such an exciting post of the spirit of citizenship and what entails being a good
citizen. There is a lot to learn from the in-depth post. The question you have raised about
abortion elicits sharp concerns about both sides of the divide. While I disagree with the whole
idea of abortion and I remain pro-life, sometimes the situation leaves one with no option but to
go for an abortion. For example, think of varied instances of rape, when the life of the mother is
in danger, and incidences of complications. As the pro-life and pro-choice continues to flare up, I
believe it is okay for people to choose whatever course they want their lives to take as long as
they do not compromise other people’s rights. Therefore as much I as I would like to recognize
ills of abortion, I am still pro-choice. Abortion should be made illegal but with exceptions.

I appreciate that your honest opinion on the subject of what it entails to become a citizen.
It is essential to appreciate the core values of citizens seeking a leadership position. I also believe
that the United States’ natural-born citizens should be required to take a similar test to the
citizenship exam before being allowed to register to vote. On your question on whether I believe
that participating in a national election without having an understanding of how our government
works and the issues/causes of both candidates could be dangerous, this is what I have to say;
knowledge is power. While choosing a leader to represent the people's interests, it is essential to
have someone knowledgeable of the needs of their people, the existing rights, among other
insights of governance. Leadership is a position that attracts a great deal of decision making.
With the right knowledge, it is possible to make the right decisions on behalf of the electorates.
