After conducting the Internal Factor Evaluation for Costco Wholesale, the weighed score
higher than 2.5 therefore the company can be considered as strong in position. Businesses have
certain strengths and weaknesses which they must always work upon to improve the
performance and have a big market share in the market. Like any other business in the market,
Costco has various strengths that keep it at par compared to other businesses in the market. The
most influential people in an organization are the employees who help in the implementation of
the business strategies and plans to increase performance (Cascio, W. F. (2018). Costco has
highly skilled staffs that have been undertaken through severe training and learning, and this
makes them have good knowledge and skills to handle the customers, thereby resulting in high
customer satisfaction, which is the goal of each organization. Customers are always concerned
with the prices of goods and products, and they always go for good with lower prices or
substitute goods based on their choice and preference.
Regarding this, Costco has set small goods prices which are very attractive to the
customers and thus the reason why the wholesaler is experiencing an influx of customer all over
and thus having a competitive advantage over the other businesses in the same market (Cascio,
W. F. (2018). the branding technique of goods and products used by cost co wholesalers attracts
more customers to buy from the company. Which has made the organization to do better in the
market because the customers are very important are business needs, and Costco has taken the
best strategies to attract and ensure customer satisfaction.
No single business all over the world that is ever complete without some weaknesses.
Costco wholesalers are faced with specific weaknesses, which act as drawbacks to the
