Different people have perspectives that conform to who they are as outlined by the DISC
model, thereby affirming people the need to be their best without compromise. Studies opine that
healthy relationships are built and enhanced through having an in-depth understanding of
ourselves and those surrounding us. The primary concepts that make the model fit for application
include using positive approaches in encouraging personality strengths and infirmity,
recognizing the uniqueness of distinct individuals, and recognizing the diversity of behavior
patterns concerning the immediate environment. According to DISC analysis, people can be
outgoing or reserved, while others are task-oriented or people-oriented.
The personality types include the dominant class, direct behaviors, task-oriented, and
outgoing. The group focuses on task accomplishment by getting to the bottom of the endeavors
and making things happen. According to Youshan & Hassan (2015), the effective way to relate
to these people includes showing respect and problem solving to acquire the required results. The
inspiring category show outgoing and people-oriented traits and are known for their love for
socialization and interaction with their immediate vicinity, although they tend to focus on other
people’s opinions. However, their crucial insight lies in the admiration and recognition concepts
with the other societal members.
The steadiness personality trait, also supportive, defines people with reserved and people-
oriented characteristics and is mainly known for preserving relationships by enhancing peace and
harmony during co-existence. The individuals relate with the others through sincere friendliness
and appreciation that constitute a warm and firm inter-personal relationship. The
conscientiousness trait is depicted by reserved and task-oriented individuals and is concerned
