A Cybersecurity Program
In any organization, a cyber-security program is an important provision, because it not
only promotes the security and safety of the respective organization but also complements the
procedures, policies, and measures embedded in the respective entity. According to Bayuk et al.,
(2012), an effective cybersecurity program is founded on commitment, processes, and security;
elements that work together to support the efficiency of the program. Conferring to this, the Risk
Management Program was chosen for this project, and it purposed to oversee cybersecurity-
related risks in the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
A. Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Role: Reporting to the Board of Directors
Responsibilities: Assume the ultimate accountability for the entity’s cybersecurity
activities and personnel.
B. Title: Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Role: Establish cybersecurity risks assessment and management protocols
Responsibilities: Executing the big decisions and ensuring normalcy in the company is
observed and always restored in the context of breaches.
C. Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Role: Strengthening the firm’s cybersecurity program.
Responsibilities: Identifying sensitive financial information and ensuring extra security
measures are implemented to safeguard the information from perpetrators.
