Introduction
The main objective of this project is concerned with marketing from a business
perspective. Marketing is a tool mostly used by a company to create awareness of its product's
existence. It is done mainly through advertisements. Advertising is not directly interested in
providing information for consumers but is interested in selling more (Nelson, 1974). In any
business no matter small or large, there must be a product first. What product is being produced,
how it will be made, and ways to market the product. This project will look into a product
present in the market and who consumes the selected product. Where there is a company, and
they have products, there must be a target market. Consumers are the target audience in any
product production and marketing. In any given market niche, a consumer has his/her opinion on
whether to use a particular product. This is the power that a consumer has, which leads to a
discussion of the five conceptions of a consumer. These conceptions provide a framework for
testing and organizing the purchase decision process of the consumers. This framework also
assists in examining the marketer's responsibility in considering business ethics to its consumer
base. Product marketing communications can impact all the five stages of consumer purchase
decisions in varying levels of positive effectiveness (Shirin & Kambiz, 2011). This paper will
define consumer purchase decisions by the five conceptions and explain whether the selected
product will suit anyone of the concepts and not to the others.
Another aspect of being covered is the ethical principles that govern the marketing industry in
marketing the selected product. The chosen direction is aligned fully to properly caveat the

Another aspect of a study is the responsibility of the marketer concerning studied ethics
concepts. The concepts provide a basis through which the marketer will execute his/her messages
