In New York City, numerous landscapes are symbolic. According to the Meining's
Three Landscape Theory, symbolic landscapes are those landscapes that have a profound and
engraved symbol and significance to the people residing in the regions (Puyallup, 2017). New
York City is one of the largest cities in the United States of America whose streets are
flooded with tall buildings, including the One Trade Center, the city's largest building. One
Trade Center is also called the Freedom Tower and is the sixth tallest building in the world.
Other tall buildings include the Central Park Tower and the 432 Park Avenue. These jungles
of tall buildings in New York City symbolizes the city as a commercial center. The City of
New York is also known as the largest trade center where individuals with dreams of making
it in the Forex Market come. This is mainly because of the famous Wall Streets.
The city also has numerous historical landscapes like the statue of the lady of liberty.
The Lady of Liberty originally symbolized the friendship between the French and the United
States of America. The statue also represents freedom and independence for the people. The
Lady of Liberty has numerous symbolic features that people relate to; for instance, the seven
crowns are known to represent the seven seas or the seven continents. The city also numerous
parks and luxurious residential buildings, with Central Park being the biggest park located in
the middle of the city. These features symbolize the expensive lifestyle of the city to the
people. For instance, when you want to live in a city with the cheapest lifestyle New York
City is not the place. The city also has numerous high-end retail stores like the Fendi Store
and Versace stores, indicating the lavish lifestyle in the city. The numerous parks and
stadiums in the city symbolize it as a significant recreational center filled with fun activities.
