Quality Management Systems
The main problem from the attachment reading is on the marketing strategy. Usually,
an innovative or inventive marketing strategy in any organization requires numerous tests
before it can be rolled out for use (Kaushik, 2016). Therefore, the nature of a marketing
strategy, which is very innovative, can pose a challenge when it comes to testing their
efficiency. The second problem can be due to the risks commonly involved in carrying out
tests for marketing strategies. These tests' results are mostly tough to know if they are entirely
reliable to be implemented or not. For Instance, the instructor tried to use different tests and
methods to solve a tricky marketing strategy problem within the shortest time possible. Some
of the methods were not satisfactory enough to be applied, for example, the contradicting
matrix. Many problems were raised with their possible solutions in order to test which
solution was better. The solution problem-solving methods of Lean Six Sigma are also known
to be trial and error processes, and hence more time can be wasted while running tests.
In finding the solution to the problem, certain assumptions are made. The first
assumption made is on using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) to validate the results achieved. Lean Six
Sigma (LSS) reduces the risk factors involved in a test while the results are being drawn. The
second assumption is on mixing the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) with the
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) would lead to a quicker derivation of a resolution to the problem. The
solution is divided into two stages, which are the given and the needed. In given, the time
taken in decision making for the development of an innovating marketing strategy should be
more. The increased test timeline for the test would aid in the production of accurate
decisions. Secondly, the methodology that is needed for testing and analyzing the numerous
factors involved in developing the innovative marketing strategy should be of low cost. The
time for carrying out the development of the strategy should also be reduced.
