Types of Testing: -
1. Unit Testing.
➢ It is the smallest testable piece of software that can be compiled and executed
for testing.
➢ If it does not perform as described by the specification, it is called ‘unit
bug’.
2. Acceptance Testing.
➢ Normally this type of testing is done to verify if system meets the customer
specified requirements.
3. Integration Testing.
➢ Testing in which modules/units are combined and tested as a group.
➢ Usually, the following methods of Integration testing are followed:
▪ Top-down Integration approach.
▪ Bottom-up Integration approach.
4. System Testing.
➢ Testing conducted on a complete, integrated system to evaluate the
system's compliance with its specified requirements.
