Abstract

E-cigs have been recommended to some cigarette users with the aim to aid them to quit

smoking. This study looks in to the effects of the e-cigs both on the negative and the positive

sides to find out whether the electronic cigarettes are safe for consumption. Besides, find

whether they perform the intended purpose. From the research carried out through qualitative

study, the finds shows that this form on cigarette has several side effects. Different studies

have demonstrated the effects of e-cigs on the lung biology, rain nervous system and

emotional part of the users. Both nicotine and flavouring agents present in this substance

have chemicals and other substances that affect the human health. Conclusively, it is not safe

to recommend the use of electronic cigarettes as an alternative for the traditional cigarettes.
