COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES 2
Compare the pros and cons of 3G and 4G technology to determine the best uses of 3G and
4G technology in today’s applications.
Pros and Cons of 3G
Enhanced Communications
3G is always considered essential in terms of enhancing communications. For instance,
the fast broadband integration that most companies use is significant, given that it makes video
conferencing comfortable and productive. Apart from that, it provides comfort even for versatile
specialists.
Noteworthy Bandwidth
3G is always instrumental in providing a remarkable transmission capacity while using it.
In this case, it allows clients to access the various interactive media applications, including the
internet, which they can get to a desktop PC that is linked to the home system (Stair & Reynolds,
2014).
Quick Data Transfer Speed
Traditionally, the information exchange rate on cell phones globally was equitably abated.
It made it challenging to exploit the extensive mixture of diverse abilities that modern 3G
gadgets tend to offer (Stair & Reynolds, 2014). Using 3G is therefore advantageous given that
the user can also download films with minimal issues due to expanded information exchange
rates.
