PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT REPORT 2
Psychological Assessment Report
I. Identifying information
The client undergoing psychological assessment is Timothy Childers. Hes a 15-year-old right-
handed male and in the 10
th
grade. Due to his parent's mixed-race with his father being a mixture
of Scottish and French and his mother, an Irish Timothy describes himself as being of mixed
race. Additionally, Timothy identifies as a heterosexual male with the claim that girls like him,
for he’s cute. He also believes he’s seeking his religion. Timothy believes he does not need any
psychological assessment, but his teachers and parents make him undergo the assessment.
However, he admits to having learning difficulties, especially relating his lecture notes to the
textbook, claiming that if the teacher does not teach as per the text, it becomes hard for him.
Timothy is short of following instructions resulting in a problem between him and the
mathematics teacher. He only gives answers to solutions without indicating the steps followed to
get the answer. Timothy believes the teacher hates his method for its much faster than his even
though he has terrible handwriting. He relates well to his siblings, and he’s especially proud of
his sister for standing up to his parents. Hes supportive of his older brother and watches games
with his friends, but he has no interest in basketball or football. He, however, likes race cars,
takes hip hop dances, and plays drums in a band. Timothy has a healthy social life with his
friends and siblings, but his relationship with his parents seems strained (Butcher, 2014). He's
also very observant of the people around him. He doesn't take any drugs for fear of being like his
uncle, and his career goals are based more on his hobbies, not academically oriented as he
prefers being a drummer in a band or a NASCAR racer.
