Active Don;'t forget the running head [Catherine Amitrano] As defined earlier, vulnerability is exposure to harm whether physical, mental or emotional. This state of affairs is a function of the interaction of the resources available in the society, the community surrounding the people and inherent life challenges facing the vulnerable population. Vulnerability results from such factors like individual incapability, personal development inadequacies and disadvantaged social status. Vulnerability is made worse by the inability of the straight population to appreciate the condition of the vulnerable groups; instead of helping them cope with their situation, they stigmatized them. Policy interventions for the disadvantaged groups developed by social groups and the government reflect on the extent of societal value development to care for their less fortunate in the society. Homeless families Home is part of the basic needs of a person and therefore for sustainable societal development to be realized, at least everyone should have a shade over their head. It is saddening how the increasing cost of living and particularly owning a home is cosigning lower class families to state of homelessness.
