Leadership Change
Managers and leaders play a critical role in the transformation of any organization.
Leaders and Managers are to have the skills to be able to change champions, change reinforcers, and
change supporters. The success of an organization is contingent upon managers acting on change levers.
Given managers' active involvement in the day-to-day activities of team members, it is vital to adopt
change initiative tactics. This can be accomplished using appropriate leadership styles, such as
charismatic and transformational leadership.
Transformational Strategy
Transformational leadership is widely recognized as a critical leadership method for advancing
human and organizational results, achieving competitive advantage, and, hence increasing productivity.
Busari et al. (2019) claim that change is difficult to achieve without leaders, referring to leaders as
change managers. Organizational transformation perspectives necessitate the leaders' use of situational
traits and management abilities to guide and lead their followers toward the desired outcome.
Transformational leadership strategy is critical for organizational change, as the leader's behavior
influences team members' reactions and outcomes (Busari et al., 2019). This method makes use of a
critical aspect, followership, to influence and lead the company through times of change. Managers and
leaders must establish goals, develop clear vision strategies, and demonstrate the proactive activities
necessary to accomplish a certain goal. The transformational leader engages his or her followers and
persuades them to commit to the articulated vision, so effecting change (Paulsen et al. 2009). To
generate a clear vision, leaders must first paint a picture of institutional goals, the impact of changes on
personnel, and the path forward for the business.
Charismatic Strategy
It is because of the leader's unique traits that charismatic leadership is able to communicate,
persuade, and change followers' opinions about an organizational change or plan (Paulsen et al., 2009).
