COMPENSATION PACKAGE 2
Compensation packages refer to a combination of various benefits provided by employers to
their employees. Productivity in the workplace often starts with employees feeling valued, thus
increasing their motivation. Proper compensation implies that employees are valued as humans
and workers. Individuals how feel valued often feel better coming to work, and this aspect
increases the overall morale of people motivated to work. For example, the most common
compensation package are bonuses on salary. Employees who receive bonuses often feel
motivated to work with the company, leading to employee retention due to motivation. Most
companies that offer compensation packages have a high degree of employee retention instead of
other companies with a low offering of compensation packages to their employees (Leonard,
2019).
By creating the right compensation plan, employees develop a strong satisfaction for their
job and employer. Benefits and bonuses will allow employees to remain in the company even
though they could search for other offers. Companies with high employee retention often give
credit to their compensation packages for playing a role in satisfying their employees.
Companies such as Microsoft, Verion, UiPath and T-Mobile have been ranked among the best
companies where employees are satisfied with their pay, perks and benefits (Truskey, 2020).
