What are two common mistakes a writer might make that could cause his or her writing to be
ineffective for readers? What steps might you take to avoid these mistakes early in the writing
stage, thereby communicating more efficiently and effectively?
I think that the two common mistakes that a writer could make to cause his or her wring to be
ineecve are 1-verb and subject agreement. 2- Run on sentences
There are a number of mes I have pick up a book or a newspaper and a!er read the tle or
the topic sentence I "nd that the part that got my a$enon at the start of the arcle was not
carried though in the main body. That is the reason that topic sentence of the arcle and the
main body must agree with each other. This is what is going to make you reader interested in
what you write.
The other thing that I think can make your whe%ng ineecve is run on sentences By having
run on sentences I think that the thinks you are trying to say get lost in that sentence. Or the
read will lose track of what you what to say. So by keeping you sentences short and to the point
you keep the readers a$enon. There by communicang more e)ciently and eecvely.
