Sexual revolution and queer remaking
The world today continues to experience unprecedented transformations and changes
involving the intimate as well as the erotic lifestyle choices that people may make (Weeks,
2017). As a result of this, the transformation resulted in notable changes in the modern-day
community, which calls for the development of practical measures that may allow people to
appreciate not only the changes but also those responsible for them. However, a small number of
people initially took deep considerations of the results of the changes where they had minimal
awareness of the way changes occurred as well as the significance associated with the changes.
The integration of a historical approach to analyze the revolution existing in how people came to
appreciate the sexual revolution offers an insight of how people had a minimal attitude towards
the changes as well as the factors that contributed towards the queer remaking of the significant
institutions.
Culture has been one of the factors associated with the creation of the notable difference
between sexes and the beliefs that most people have (Falk & Hemle, 2018). Based on one’s
sexuality, the community decided regarding the attitude that they may need when addressing
them. Concerning the differences in gender beliefs, different communities have different
perceptions towards the differences in gender as well as the treatment that one person may
receive based on their gender. This belief, however, changed with time as people came to
develop a different perception as opposed to the thoughts that people in the past had regarding
the people with other sexual characteristics. In addition to this, these changes resulted in women
and the people who were considered a minority in the community to come up with the practices
that would assist in overcoming the barriers that made it challenging for them to feel appreciated
